BASSHUNTER - Angels ain’t Listening POP/ DANCE

Swedish icon of dance music returns with a dynamic new single called “Angels ain’t Listening”. The song expresses an emotional side to Basshunter that hasn’t been seen in recent years, with powerful lyrics detailing the shadow side of his life. This ’80s-pop-inspired but undeniably forward-thinking track has been produced by Jimmy Joker (Mylene Farmer, , , ). Basshunter co-wrote this track with Jimmy Thornfeldt (Pitbull, Willy William, ), Bilal Hajji (, Khaled) and Thomas G:son (Loreen, ). “Angels ain’t Listening” will be released on May 29th through the label PowerHouse.

“The song is about knowing “Angels ain't listening” and needing to find myself before I give any person my time forever," says Basshunter. “I’ve realised that it’s so important to make a good relationship with yourself before you can get into one with someone else. We all make mistakes, fucking up and learning lessons the hard way, but we should always keep our heads up and have some fun in our life!”

Basshunter is one of the most notable, influential, and longstanding names in modern dance music. His ever-growing collection of tunes is loaded with dance classics, including his breakout hits “Now You’re Gone” (“” in Sweden), “All I ever wanted”, “”, “I Miss You”, “DotA”. Basshunter has been interviewed by journalist Måns Mosesson for the official biography of legendary Tim Bergling aka as he was a big influence for Avicii at the start of his musical career. Over the past several years, Basshunter has transitioned from the traditional main stage sound and embraced his more intimate house music roots, eliciting an overwhelmingly positive response. With still doing more than 100 shows a year he’s been touring the UK, Scandinavia, Spain, Australia, Hungary, Italy to name a few of the countries with his high energy live performances and DJ sets.
