Access: -- Study rooms are open 24 hours, 7 days a week (except holidays). Library is open to students, faculty, and staff of the George Washington University, users affiliated with university and library consortia, and West End Association members, IMF/World Bank Employees, School without Walls students and staff, Summer Housing Residents, WRLC employees, and Woodrow Wilson Scholars. Ask a librarian a question online via email or IM, or schedule a research assistant appointment online or via phone.

Access: Eckles Library, as part of the Gelman Library System, is a member of the Washington Research Libraries Consortium and therefore extends borrowing privileges to eligible patrons from other consortium libraries. A valid institutional ID is required for borrowing. Some library services or privileges may be restricted to GW students, faculty, and staff.

Access: The privilege of borrowing library resources is not open to the general public. General borrowing privileges are extended to all GW faculty, students, staff and University hospital employees. However, some library services or privileges may be restricted to GWU Medical Center faculty, students and staff. University personnel and students not affiliated with the Medical Center must fill out a user application form at the Himmelfarb Circulation Desk in order to register for borrowing.
