NOVEMBER HEALTH INSPECTIONS Of the four Maricopa eating establishments inspected this month through Nov. 20, only one, KFC, received an Excellent grade from the Pinal County Health Department. Two eateries were given Satisfactory ratings, correcting violations during inspection. Both just opened this autumn. Honeycutt Coffee Express in Province was cited for not having proper date markings on some items and for having no observable test papers for measuring the concentration of the sanitizer. Spoon’s Café was also cited for not having proper date markings on some food items. One store had issues that took longer to correct and marked Needs Improvement. The McDonald’s in Walmart had insufficient hot water generation to meet peak demands. During inspection, hot water tested at 105 degrees instead of the required 110 degrees. A re-inspection was scheduled.
