The information contained in the present edition may not be necessarily complete, given a plethora of other publications where such data and factual details as are not incorporated in this, have been reflected. It is through the concerted efforts of all officers involved, such as the District Education Officers, Sub-Divisional Education Officers, District Project Coordinators, SSA/RMSA, Education Officers of District Councils, etc. who furnished relevant data and other inputs, that this publication has been possible, and I express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to them for their invaluable contribution. Thangmawia today visited and inspected various precautionary measures taken on fight against Covid-19 within Lengteng Assembly Constituency. Pu L.Thangmawia was accompanied Pu VL Hruaizela Khiangte, Deputy Commissioner Saitual, Pu PC Lalduhthlanga, SP, Pu R. Lalnghakliana, Addl DC, Pu Vanlaltanpuia, Civil SDO Ngopa and Police Personnels from Ngopa Police Station. The MLA visited bordering villages like Mimbung, Teikhang, Hrianghmun, Khawkawn, Ngopa and NE Khawdungsei and inspected the Check Gates. Pu L.Thangmawia along with District Officials visited Check Posts and Village Level Task Forces on Covid-19, interacted and instructed them to watch close vigil, forbidding all movement across the borders through Manipur and Myanmar. Pu L. Thangmawia, representing 21-Lengteng A/C handed over monetary assistance and rice to Soldiers while Saitual DC Pu VL Hruaizela Khiangte handed over monetary assistance and tarpaulins to Village Level Task Forces. Presently there are 4 Check Gates operating under the jurisdiction of Ngopa Civil SDO at Khawkawn, Mimbung, Hrianghmun and Teikhang, all manned by Soldiers and Village Level Task Forces. Date of Order : 7.3.2017 ORDER The prosecution story of the case in brief is that , on dt.11.6.2013 at 11:50 am, a written report was received from Lalruatmawia S/o Vanlalngura (L) of Vaphai Village, Champhai District to the effect that on 10.6.2013 at around 11:30 am, his sister Lalsangpuii (38) D/o Vanlalngura (L) of Vaphai Village who was mentally retarded was rape by Lalneihchhunga (32) S/o Thanglianchhuma of Vaphai Village inside the house of his younger brother PC Lalnghakliana s/o Vanlalngura(L) of Vaphai Village who was living next door to their house. Hence, CPI PS Case No.86/2013 dt.11.6.2013 u/s 376(1) IPC was registered and duly investigated into. 2. During investigation, the complainant was thoroughly examined and recorded his statement. The PO was visited but no physical clue was found at the Page 1 of 15 PO. The victim Lalsangpuii (38) D/o Vanlalngura (L) of Vaphai Village was forwarded to the Medical Officer, PHC Khawbung for medical examination by observing all legal formalities,. According to the Medical Examination report, the doctor opined that the victim sustained old torn hymen which may be as a result of previous penetration which does not rule out recent penetration.
