The assessment revealed no significant archaeological sites within the direct area but did reveal a parish boundary and medieval/post-medieval field boundaries in the vicinity. [Au(adp)]

The assessment showed that the study area was occupied during the prehistoric period. A prehistoric enclosure, lithic scatters and trackway are in close proximity to the area and two sizeable prehistoric flint scatters were located in the direct area. [Au(adp)]

The assessment identified two former medieval/post-medieval buildings and several boundaries remaining within the study area. Two Roman roads were also thought to pass through the study area. [Au(adp)]

An assessment of the site in advance of a new supermarket development identified no significant archaeological remains except Oliver's Ditch, an old property boundary. However, this was put down to the fact that no in depth assessment had been carried out at the site. Further evaluation was recommended. [Au(abr)]

The assessment demonstrated that the study area has limited archaeological potential, largely characterised by post-medieval and modern enclosures. The only archaeological sites identified within the vicinity included the sites of two former buildings. The parish boundary survived in part as an earthwork bank. There were no Listed Buildings within the study area. [Au(adp)]

An assessment in response to proposals for a supermarket revealed no archaeological remains within the site boundary, despite Listed buildings and a Conservation Area in the vicinity. The site was thought to be of a low archaeological potential. [Au(abr)]
