PRODUCTS USED: Expona Commercial
High design luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor’s Expona Commercial PUR collection were chosen for the refurbishment of hospitality and conferencing suites at Liberty Stadium in Swansea, Wales.
Liberty Stadium, the home stadium of Swansea City football club and the Ospreys rugby team, has a capacity of over 20,000 and 37 conference suites for hosting a variety of meetings and events. Local contractors BAPTT Shopfitters Ltd installed Expona Commercial flooring in the new OSTC FX Suite at the stadium which has views overlooking the pitch.
Expona Commercial PUR luxury vinyl tiles in the Blue Weathered Spruce and Dark Recycled Wood designs were chosen for the new hospitality suite. The rustic wood Blue Weathered Spruce design was used for the main floor area whilst the contemporary Dark Recycled Wood design, with tiles supplied in varying widths and contrasting shades for a random effect, was used around the bar area. These designs were also used in the stadium’s Penderyn Suite.
Catherine Thomas, Customer Services Manager at Swansea Stadium Management Company commented, “This wood effect flooring has helped to give our OSTC FX Suite a sophisticated and stylish new look which has received incredibly positive comments from visitors and event attendees in the 2016/17 season so far.”
