Marabuto Abstract 39 species are added to the Portuguese Lepidoptera fauna and one species deleted, mainly as a result of fieldwork undertaken by the authors and others in 2015. In addition, second and third records for the country, new province records and new food-plant data for a number of species are included. Tafeln I-XIV Nachdem die Literatur über die Familie Pterophoridae durch kurze Einzelpublikationen in verschiedenen Zeitschriften sehr verstreut und schwer zu überblicken ist, erscheint es not wendig, eine Zusammenfassung und taxonomische Darstellung der einzelnen Gattungen zu geben. Besonders wichtig ist eine Revision der Gattung Agdistis. Verschiedene Autoren sind bei der Determination der Agdistis- Arten zu ganz unterschiedlichen Resultaten gelangt. Vor liegende Arbeit basiert nun auf der Untersuchung der Typusexemplare aller ungeklärten Ar ten. Es sind hier alle bisher bekannten Spezies und deren Synonymien angeführt, so daß eine Grundlage für eine weitere Bearbeitung der Agdistis gegeben ist. Sie soll eine vorläufige Zu sammenfassung und Darstellung der einzelnen Arten geben. Besonderer Wert wird auf die Abbildungen der Genitalarmaturen gelegt. Eine ausführliche Bearbeitung ist dem entspre chenden Band der „Microlepidoptera Palaearctica“ Vorbehalten. Besonderer Dank für ihre Mithilfe an vorliegender Arbeit gilt folgenden Herren: Dr. H. G. A Remarkable New Species of the Genus Catatinagma Rebel, 1903 (Lepidoptera, Gelechiidae) from Turkmenistan

A new highly specialized Catatinagma Rebel, 1903 species is described from Turkmenistan. Both sexes have completely reduced hindwings and strongly reduced forewings. The adults are active in February, jumping amongst Carex physodes M. Bieb. and being associated with rodent burrows. The new species is similar to Metanarsia trisignella Bidzilya, 2008, in the male genitalia. Both species are placed here provisionally in Catatinagma Rebel, 1903, and their position within Apatetrini is briefly discussed. The adult and the genitalia of both sexes are illustrated, and the behaviour of the new species is described. Introduction As a result of my study of material deposited in the Zoological Institute of the Russian Acade- my of Sciences (Russia, Sankt-Petersburg, ZIN), a very remarkable narrow-winged species of Gelechiidae with prominent frontal process from Repetek Nature Reserve (SE Turkmenistan) was discovered. As it turned out after a detailed examination, the species was an undescribed member of the subfamily Apatetrinae, tribe Apatetrini (Karsholt et al. 2013) but its generic assignment was unclear. A well-developed beak-shaped frontal process on the head and stenoptery in both sexes with fully reduced hindwing were recognized as external morphological specializations of the new species. -

Altogether, 1,564 species taxa (identifi ed at least to the genus level) from 25 orders of Hexapoda have been recorded from the Socotra Archipelago to date. In addition, members of Diplura and Ephemeroptera are known from the archipelago as well, but they have not been identifi ed so far. The most speciose order in Socotra are beetles (Coleoptera) with 540 species. The total number of endemic taxa described from the archipelago is 662 species, which represents 42% of all known species. The vast majority of species is known from the main Socotra Island (1,520 species, 635 endemic taxa). The diversity of insects in Socotra is briefl y commented on and compared with the nearest archipelago – the Seychelles. Key words. Bella & O. Karsholt Abstract The authors report the results of field research on Gelechiidae from the “Pantano Longarini” salt marsh (southeastern Sicily). The area is located inland to the “Pantani della Sicilia Sud-Orientale” regional nature reserve. A total of twenty-four species are recognized; among the recorded taxa Scrobipalpa peterseni (Povolny´, 1965) is new to Europe, Scrobipalpa bigoti (Povolny´, 1973), Scrobipalpa bradleyi Povolny´ 1971, Scrobipalpa spergulariella (Chrétien, 1910) and Scrobipalpa superstes Povolny´, 1977 are new records for Sicily and Italy, and Syncopacma sangiella (Stainton, 1863) and Scrobipalpa monochromella (Constant, 1895) are new for the Sicilian fauna. -

Altogether 115 species are reported, including 10 species indentifed to genus level only and likely including undescribed taxa, and 25 new records for Crete. DNA barcode sequences give evidence to cryptic diversity in some species. K e y w o r d s : Gelechiidae, Crete, new records, DNA barcoding. Introduction With an area of 8,261 km2 Crete (Kreta) is the largest island of Greece and the fifth largest Mediterranean island, stretching about 260 km from east to west and between 12 and 57 km from north to south. Together with a number of small surrounding islands with total area of ca. 65 km2 it constitutes the region of Crete. It is a mountainous island, reaching 2,456 m in the Lefka Ori Mts., and with 43 peaks above 2000 m. The moun- tains are overall karst/limestone (Figs 1-4). Crete is an extension of the Pindos Mts. of the Greek mainland. The distance to mainland Greece is about 100 km and to Turkey about 200 km. -
