SCALE MICROGRID SOLUTIONS 13 About Scale Scale Microgrid Solutions is a vertically integrated distributed energy platform, with a core focus of designing, building, financing, and operating cutting-edge distributed energy assets that offer cheaper, cleaner, and more resilient power. A team of energy and financing experts, Scale enables customers to take charge of their energy infrastructure and future-proof their businesses..

SCALE MICROGRID SOLUTIONS 14 npl

About NPL

NPL delivers professional services and solutions in business development, project development, and technical and NPL was founded in 2020 to revive the financial due diligence. Transmission Project (NTP). NTP was designed to deliver 1,500 MW of electric power through a 470-mile 500kW EHV AC Transmission Line with several interconnecting substations from Northern New Mexico, across Northern and terminating within Southern Nevada.

NTP was fully permitted in 2008 but fell short due to challenges tied to another project. Eventually, NTP was abandoned in 2011 and remained dormant until 2019, when NPL advised the to reconsider restoring NTP under NPL as a private for-profit company.

SCALE MICROGRID SOLUTIONS 15 Our Partnership

NPL and Scale built a partnership to find innovative solutions to heavily constrained power delivery and restrictive transmission grids affecting tribal businesses and infrastructure.

For many parts of Indian Country, the existing power infrastructure is insufficient to protect tribes from rolling blackouts, fire seasons and the high cost of power delivery.

We’ve teamed up to offer real, resilient and affordable solutions for tribes across Indian Country.
