The films in question were made in 1915 (5) and 1921 (2). The Australian John Cosgrove was performing on stage in Australia ca. July/Aug, 1915 and wrote a series of articles for the Theatre Magazine (Dec 1914 - Feb 1915) which do not mention his intention of going to the USA to work in Hollywood (which he would certainly have done!).
