Sub: Re-organization of Ranges under Central Excise Division-II Ludhiana –Regarding. In partial modification to this office Trade Notice No.01/2009/ dated 1.4.2009 issued vide C. No.II-39 (4) ET-I/09/ dated 1.4.2009 under which the Ranges at Ludhiana were re-organized and for the purpose of facilitating the trade and Industry and to have effective supervision the revised jurisdiction of Central Excise Range-I to VIII at Central Excise Division-II, Ludhiana will be as under:- SL. Range Jurisdiction No. 01. Central Excise All the Central Excise Assesses located in the area bound by roads/lines starting Range-I, Savitri from Dhandari Railway crossing Chowk to CFS (OWPL) then upto M/s. Sikri Complex, G.T. Steels passing in front of CFS (PSWC), then turning towards left through M/s. Road, Ludhiana Jyoti Steels- M/s Amar Wheels Road upto Jiwan Singh Nagar Road, then turning right towards M/s. Sharu Steels, turning left ahead of M/s Sharu Steels, backside of M/s. C.L. Engg., M/s. Arora Alloys and along the road passing in front of M/s Arora Iron & Steel Rolling Mills, crossing the Railway line joining G.T.Road at M/s. Sharman Woollen Mills, then moving along the G.T. Road towards the city upto Dhandari Railway crossing Chowk. In addition to above units falling under the area from Focal Point Phase-V, Block-C, Main Road Dhandari Kalan flyover from Container Corp. of India upto Hari Om Dharm Kanda and then Research & Development Center and then left upto Container Corp. of India from erstwhile Range-V. 02. Central Excise All the Central Excise Assesses located in the area bound by roads starting from Range-II, Savitri Samrala Chowk to Sherpur Chowk, then on the G.T. Road, upto Giaspura Complex, G.T. Chowk/railway crossing, then moving left upto M/s Nagpal Dharam Kanda, and Road, Ludhiana. passing in front of M/s. Metro Tyres upto Chandigarh Road and finally diverting towards city on the Chandigarh Road upto Samrala Chowk. 03. Central Excise All the Central Excise Assesses located in the area bound by roads starting from Range-III, Kohara Chowk to Sahnewal Chowk, then along the G.T.Road upto M/s Sharman Division-II Woollen Mills.then turning right crossing railway line and on road along the line entering focal point passing in front of M/s Arora Rolling Mills and M/s Arora Alloys upto the Jewan Singh Nagar Road in front of M/s Sharu Steels, then turning upto New Modern Steel Industries, then turning right towards institute of fashion technology & then, along M/s Mahesh Dyeing to join the Chandigarh Road, in front M/s Ram Singh & Sons Petrol Pump & finally turning right on the Chandigarh Road upto Kohara Chowk. In addition to above the assesses of Central Excise Range-VII to be transferred to Central Excise Range-III i.e. from Kohara Chowk to Neelon Bridge on straight way on the Chandigarh Road and & Kohara to Machhiwara right side upto village Mangarh. 04. Central Excise All the Central Excise Assesses of Central Excise Range-V, Division-II located Range-IV, Savitri in the bound by Road starting from M/s Rockman, M/s Akal Spring Chowk along Complex, G.T. the road passing in front of CFS(OWPL) and PSWC (CFS) upto the front of M/s Road, Ludhiana. Sikri Steels then moving left on front of M/s Jyoti Steels to join Jiwan Singh Nagar Road and upto New Modern Steel Industries ,then turning right towards institute of Fashion Technology and then along M/s Mahesh Dyeing to join the Chandigarh Road in front of M/s Ram Singh & Sons Petrol Pump then turning left upto Jewan Singh Nagar Chowk, and finally upto Rockman –M/s Akal Springs Chowk will be merged in Central Excise Range-IV, Division-II. Excluding units falling under the area from Focal Point Phase-V, Block-C, Main Road Dhandari Kalan flyover from Container Corp. of India upto Hari Om Dharm Kanda and then Research & Development Center and then left upto Container Corp. of India. 05. Central Excise All the Central Excise Assesses of the jurisdiction of erstwhile Central Excise Range-V, Savitri Range-VI, Division-II & area bound by roads starting from M/s Rockman, M/s Complex, G.T. Akal Springs Chowk along the road passing in front of (OWPL) and PSWC Road, Ludhiana. (CFS) upto the front of M/s Sikri Steels then moving left on from of M/s Jyoti Steels to join Jiwan Singh Nagar Road, upto New Modern Steel Industries then turning right towards institute of fashion technology & then ,along M/s Mahesh Dyeing to join the Chandigarh Road, in front of M/s Ram Singh & Sons Petrol Pump then turning left upto Jiwean Singh Nagar Chowk and finally upto M/s Rockman-Akal Springs Chowk, Ludhiana. 06. Central Excise All the Central Excise Assesses located in the area bound by roads/lines Range-VI, starting from M/s. Punj Brothers on the G.T. Road upto Sahnewal Chowk to Division-II Kohara Chowk, from there on the Chandigarh Road upto the road adjacent to M/s. Bonn Bread and M/s. Sohana Woollen Mills, then on this road passing in front of M/s. D.C. Steels upto river Sutlej passing through village Bhukhari Kalan to outer limits of Ludhiana Tehsils [Ludhiana (East), Ludhiana (West) and Ludhiana (Central)] and along the outer limits of the above said three tehsils upto M/s. Punj Brothers on the G.T. Road through Neelon Bridge. Thus, the new Range-VII shall comprise the jurisdiction of Range-I of the erstwhile Central Excise Division-III except area transferred to Central Excise Range-III, Division-II i.e. the assesses of Central Excise Range-VII to be transferred to Central Excise Range-III i.e. from Kohara Chowk to Neelon Bridge on straight way on the Chandigarh Road & & Kohara to Machhiwara left side upto village Mangarh. 07. Central Excise All the Central Excise Assesses located on left hand side of Jallandhar Bye pass Range-VII, Road starting from Samrala chowk upto Basti Jodhewal Chowk and then turning Division-II left there-from on left hand side of Sunder Nagar (Rahon) Road-Ghas Mandi road-Chaura bazar- Lakkar bridge -and located on left hand side of road starting from Lakkar Bridge to Dandi-Swami --Hambran road upto Ferozpur road extending to outer limit of Tehsil Ludhiana (West) and Tehsil Jagraon including those located on right side of road starting from Samrala Chowk to Cheema Chowk to Dholewal Chowk - Jagraon bridge upto Lakkar bridge i.e. that part of the Industrial Area-A etc. falling in the erstwhile jurisdiction of Central Excise Range-VIII, Div-II Ludhiana. 08. Central Excise All the Central Excise Assesses located on the right side of Chandigarh road Division-VIII, starting from M/s Bonn Bread to Samrala Chowk to Jallandhar Bye pass road Division-II upto Sutlej river ( but excluding units located on the left side of Jallandhar bye- pass road from Samrala Chowk upto Basti Jodhewal Chowk - turning left towards Sunder Nagar (Rahon) Road and located on left side of Sunder Nagar (Rahon) road - Ghas mandi road-Chaura Bazar- Lakkar bridge) but including those located on right hand side starting from Basti Jodhewal Chowk - Sunder Nagar (Rahon) Road - Ghas Mandi Road- Chaura Bazar - Lakkar Bridge- Dandi Swami road - Hambran Road extending upto outer limits of Tehsil Ludhiana(West) and Tehsil Jagraon upto Sutlej River.
