Senior Weekend Six Sonoma State student-athletes -- Brook Johnson, Casey Dayton, Ben Langwith, Alan Grady, Jeff Loesche and Stuart Gallant -- will compete in their final collegiate regular season home game on Sunday when the Seawolves take on Humboldt State at 11:30 a.m. Each will be honored in a pre-game ceremony.

The Battle For The West Region Crown The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) West Regional poll has the Seawolves listed at second in the west region. The No. 2 ranking in the region, close behind CCAA-foe Cal State L.A., gives the Sea- wolves a narrow possibility to host the NCAA Regional Post-Season Tournament if in fact the Seawolves flip-flop with the Golden Eagles in the regional rankings. If Sonoma State does finish the season atop the west region poll, the Seawolves will host a regional tounament for the first time since women’s soccer hosted one in 1998. The last time Sonoma State has hosted a NCAA post-season game was in 2002 when the Seawolves hosted Midwestern State in the NCAA Quarterfinal Match on 11/24/2002 in which Sonoma State won 3-0 to move onto the Final Four at Virginia Beach. The Seawolves went on to win the national championship that year. Junior Taylor Jones scored his team-leading sixth goal on Friday National Spotlight on Sonoma State to defeat Chico State, 2-1. After losing to Cal State Stanislaus on Sunday, the Sonoma State Seawolves fell to 14th in this week’s Na- tional Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) poll. In the preseason poll, the Seawolves were ranked 17th.
