Brantford Harlequins 2016 Harlequins Outscore Hornets The 2016 Harlequins season kicked off on Saturday, as a mixed side hopped the county line and into Hornet territory. While the build up to this season has seen a few horses still in the stable, Goodrow's had the Van Horne twins doing laps since the start of the mudding season, and they were in need of a hit out. And they're off. The game itself was probably better in memory than it would read on paper... Safe to say it's a good thing Dylan Mundy was there, as he provided some ink for the score sheet. Thanks also to Casey Bouk for forgetting the match was a 'friendly', and looking generally grumpy all day. The final score saw the Quins win comfortably 6 touchdowns to 3, with the work shared equally backs and Saturday April 30, 2016 Saturday forwards. Well done to all the new caps, everyone looked capable on the park and some good rugby was played. The coaches conferred post match, and it has been decided that Paul Auzins currently holds the title as "Best Player at the Club" for his outstanding work in awesomeness. With almost wizard like control, this guy injects himself into a match and leaves the other 29 players on the field astounded. Just ask the fans. Now the challenge is on to take that title. Best of luck. And with that, we're right into it. Home performances at Harlequins the next two Saturdays. If you want to be a part of it, make your way out to training, Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm.
