Historia naturalis bulgarica, 21: 13-48, 2015 Terrestrial gastropods (Mollusca, Gastropoda) of Strandzha Mountain and the Black Sea coast (Bulgaria and Turkey) Atanas Irikov, Ivelin Mollov Abstract: The current synopsis presents an overview of the terrestrial malacofauna of Strandzha Mountain in Bulgaria and Turkey, based on previously published and new data. As a result of the research we recorded 101 species and subspecies of ter- restrial molluscs belonging to 27 families. The data on the terrestrial malacofauna from the Turkish part of Strandzha is entirely new and presented here for the first time. The synopsis includes a list of synonymous species and subspecies concerning the area of research, all known localities, new localities reported for 50 taxa, systematic and environmental data. For the first time a zoogeographical and conservation analysis of the terrestrial snails is made. Key words: terrestrial gastropods, snails, slugs, Strandzha Mountain, Bulgaria, Turkey. ISPA Measure No: 2000/BG/16/P/PE/002 FINANCING MEMORANDUM of Agreed between the European Commission and the Republic of Bulgaria Concerning the grant of assistance from the Instrument for Structural Policies for Pre-accession to the following measure Set of 6 regional waste disposal sites located in Montana, Ruse, Pernik, Sevlievo, Silistra and Sozopol in Bulgaria FINANCING MEMORANDUM XXX The European Commission, hereinafter referred to as "the Commission", acting for and on behalf of the European Community, hereinafter referred to as "the Community" represented by the Commissioner for Regional Policy, Mr. Michel Barnier, for the Commission on the one part, and The Government of Bulgaria, hereinafter referred to as "the beneficiary” on the other part, HAVE AGREED AS FOLLOWS: Article 1 The measure referred to in Article 2 below shall be implemented and financed out of the budgetary resources of the Community in accordance with the provisions set out in this Memorandum. The measure referred to in Article 2 below shall be implemented in line with the General Conditions annexed to the Framework Agreement signed between the Commission and the beneficiary and supplemented by the terms of this Memorandum and the provisions annexed hereto. Article 2 Identification of the measure The Instrument for Structural Policies for Pre-accession shall contribute, by way of a grant, towards the financing of the following measure as described in Annex I: Measure number: 2000/BG/16/P/PE/ 002 Title: Set of 6 regional waste disposal sites located in Montana, Ruse, Pernik, Sevlievo, Silistra and Sozopol. A guide to Getting Married at The Castle in Ravadinovo Bulgaria This guide was put together in May 2016, having spoken to the Bulgarian Solicitors for the Castle at Ravadinovo, the British Embassy in Sofia and reference to the UK Government web site appertaining to British Nationals who wish to marry in Bulgaria. The Documents You will Need: 1. Copy of Passport for both the Bride and Groom. 2. Copy of Passport for two Witnesses. 3. A Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) 4. Medical Certificate. 5. Municipality Declaration The Steps: 1. Book the Date at the Castle for your ceremony as soon as you have decided upon it. 2. Decide upon two witnesses. 3. Within six months of the date of the wedding go to your Registrar and get a certificate of no impediment (CNI) to prove you’re allowed to marry. Valid six months (three months in Scotland) (You can normally get a CNI by giving a notice of marriage at your local register office or registrar in the UK.) Bulgarian Charm will send this to Bulgaria to be translated into Bulgarian by legal translators. Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) 4. Book the Municipal officials who will conduct the ceremony (at least 1 months notice). (The Castle at Ravadinovo will do this when The Castle booking is made) 5. Bulgarian Charm will send you an English version of the Sozopol Municipality Declaration to complete and sign, Bulgarian Charm will send this to Bulgaria to be translated into Bulgarian by legal translators at the same time as the CNI. 6. -

Tens of thousands of refugees from conflict zones in Africa and Middle East have come knocking at the doors of the EU, looking for salvation, shelter and a better future. For the first time in decades the Union has no common solution for such a serious issue. Immigrant quotas that the European Commission has tried to request have been met with disagree- ment from member countries. The better-off Eastern Europeans have no desire to accept refugees, while the poorer ones – like Bulgaria – at least officially do not object, but have no means to do much. -
