Welcome back to The Fortress Stadium for this evening’s game against Whitehawk.

It was almost the perfect start to the season on Saturday as we beat Ha- vant & Waterlooville 3-1 on the opening day of the Vanarama Conference South season at Westle- igh Park. A clean sheet would obviously have made it perfect, but to win 3-1 away at one of the favourites for the league is brilliant. The boys did very well, I was very impressed with some of the performances and in particular the goals.

We go into every game with the main target being to get a win, and that is no different tonight against a good White- hawk side. A clean sheet is obviously a bonus and hopefully we can get one tonight. Whitehawk are a good team who have invested quite a lot of money in their playing staff over the summer. It’ll be a tough game, just like every game in this division will be during the season, and we’ll have to play well to collect the three points that we want.

Enjoy the game, Rob
