St. Louis Walking Tour

Experience the beauty of Ol’ St. Louie! We will walk in a group from the Hilton to the St. Louis Riverfront. After a stop at the Old Courthouse, location of the Dred Scott trial, we will take in magnificent views from the top of St. Louis’ Gateway Arch—an iconic monument symbolizing the city’s role as early settlers pioneered westward years ago. See both the history and culture surrounding the city—from 630 feet high in this architectural wonder. From the top of the tallest man-made monument in the United States and highest point in downtown St. Louis, you will experience unforgettable views of the city and the Mississippi River. We will finish the tour by taking a delightful, one-hour journey back to a time when steamboats ruled the Mississippi River. Narrated by the captain, this cruise highlights the history of St. Louis and the mighty river’s role today. Admire the Gateway Arch, as well as other historical and inspiring architecture from aboard a replica nineteenth-century steamboat. During this cruise, the captain will explain how the river affects and benefits the surrounding city. This is a great tour for anyone who wants to experience the recently renovated historic St. Louis Riverfront!
