Peter Whitlock 47644 Forester Road PR#2 Sardis, B.C. Canada V2R4M6

Dear Peter M. Whitlock.

I would like to thank you for the information you send me on April 22, 2006. I am particularly pleased with the actual marriage license of William Whitlock and Harriet Fowler.

Your earlier research does not make any cense to me right now. we i·~61.(j) My husband is the son of Nina Gunn and Eugene John Weatel. Since two oftheir children are still living, I am not including them. Nina Gunn was the daughter of Earl Leland Gunn and Rose Clemens. Her brother Clemens Earl Gunn, had four children, all still living.

I am including all the research I have done on William Whitlock, Elizabeth Whitlock and Earl Leland Gunn.

I can't understand why our emails are being returned. Your server would not except my last try.

In reading the letter of Samuel Whitlock to his parents in which he mentions Joseph Whitlock and Mary in Chagrin Falls, had a son Samuel and Grace died. He also mentions brother and sisters William, Phillip, Elias and Susan. Do you know anything about these people?

I also included the little research I was able to do on the sister of our Elizabeth Whitlock, Rebecca L. Whitlock. I wrote the library in Cleveland for their actual marriage license but never got a reply. They are listed as being married there. The trail stops in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri. I often wonder what happened to them. Did they go back to England?

Again thank you so much for sending all the information to us, we greatly appreciate it. Maybe someday we will find the actual parents of William Whitlock, as he was born in 1809, to early for the parents you mentioned. Unless they married earlier.

Sorry for the delay, but my computer was down, it took a while to get it up and running again . .~9~ Wietske P. Weigel and Dr.Eugene J. Weigel

The floral tributes were profuse and beautiful, there being many set pieces from the local Masonic lodge, friends and neighbors. The burial was at Lakeview .

My note: Wietske P. Weigel-She resided with her uncle in Cleveland. In 1860 she is listed with her father in Orange, Cuyahoga Co. Ohio. In 1860 there was a Samuel Whitlock listed in Cleveland who moved to Munson, Ceauga Co. Ohio as he is listed in the 1870 Census there. My feeling is that she lived with him untill her marriage in 1865. Also I think her father went to visit him and died there in 1884 as Samuel Whitlock is listed in the 1880 census in Geauga Co. Ohio.
