Monmouth Council recipient and Eagle Scout from Troop 223, Middlesex District, Vincent Buccigrossi, married his high school sweetheart Sarah Glockenmeier, Saturday July 27th 2019. Attending his celebration were his Eagle Scout friends from Troop 223, captioned below. Also present we’re Vin’s cousins and fellow Eagle Scouts - Michael Massimo (Edison), Joseph Gallo (Long Island), Sam Kogan (Staten Island) and friend Dan Allen (Manville). At Eagle Scout Court of Honors it’s common to hear how an event or badge earned in Scouting makes an everlasting footprint on a young Scout’s life. A high school and college athlete, Vincent chose his desired profession of Physician’s Assistant because of the medical knowledge and skills learned during his years as a Scout and Merit Badge Counselor. Based in East Brunswick, Troop 223 was established in the 1960s and for nearly sixty years has run an active and high adventure based program. Chartered by VFW Post 133 both Troop and Pack 223 maintain a healthy relationship within its local community. This past June, Troop 223 celebrated their 81st Eagle Scout - Alexander Paz.
