CAVS ALL-TIME PLAYOFF LEADER: LeBron James surpassed Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Anderson Varejao for sole possession in postseason games played in franchise history as his first appearance this year was his 72nd playoff game in a Cavaliers uniform (Game 1 of the First Round vs. BOS on April 19). DYNAMIC DUO: In Game 2 against Boston, LeBron James (30 pts/9 rebs/7 asts) and Kyrie Irving (26 pts/5 rebs/6 asts) became the first duo in Cavaliers history to each tally at least 25 points, five rebounds and five assists in a postseason contest.

 During the 2014-15 regular season, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James each averaged at least 20.0 points and 5.0 assists per game, becoming just the 5 th duo in NBA history to accomplish that feat. The two scored at least 30 points each in the same game five times this past season (at UTA 11/5, vs. NOP 11/10, at LAC 1/16, at DET 1/27 and at SAS 3/12).  They also each had at least 32 points and six assists twice this season for the Cavaliers (11/10 vs. NOP & 1/27 at DET), who never had a game in which two players had at least 30 points and six assists in the same game prior to this season.

DOING THE DIRTY WORK: In the Game 2 win over Boston, Tristan Thompson became the first Cavs player to pull down at least 11 rebounds and not attempt a field goal in a single playoff game since Ben Wallace on April 27, 2008 versus Washington (12 rebounds/0 FGA). The last NBA player to accomplish that feat in a postseason contest was Reggie Evans, who did it for Brooklyn on May 4, 2013 (13 rebounds/0 FGA).

STRONG POSTSEASON DEBUTS: In the win over Boston in Game 1 of the First Round on April 19, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson each had strong playoff debuts.

 In his first career playoff appearance, Kyrie Irving registered a game -high 30 points on 11-21 (.524) shooting from the field, including 5-9 (.556) from three-point range, in 41 minutes of play. He became the first player in NBA history to record 30 points and five three-pointers in a postseason debut. Irving’s 30 points are the 2nd-most points scored by a Cavalier in their playoff debut (LeBron James 32, 4/22/2006 vs. WAS). He also became the first Cavalier to hit at least five three-pointers in his first postseason contest.  Kevin Love recorded a double-double in his first career playoff appearance after finishing with 19 points, a game -high 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 33 minutes. Love is the first Cavs player to tally at least 19 points and 12 rebounds in their playoff debut and the first Cavs player to post a double-double in his first postseason game since LeBron James in 2006.  Tristan Thompson had a solid first playoff game with 12 points on 4-6 (.667) shooting from the field and six rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench.

PROTECTING HOME COURT: Dating back to Jan. 19 of the 2014-15 regular season, the Cavs have won 22 of their last 23 games at The Q, which includes 16 of them by a margin of victory of at least 10 points.

- Since three-pointers became an official NBA stat in 1979-80, the 2014-15 Cavs were one of only two teams in league history with three players who tallied 1,200 points and 115 three-pointers in a single season, joining the 1995-96 trio of Jim Jackson, George McCloud and Jason Kidd.
