SUBJECT: Channels to be compulsorily carried on the Internet Protocol Television(IPTV) Service platform as per Clause (xi) of the Guidelines for provisioning of IPTV services.

In supersession of this Ministry's OM No. No. l6l3/2006-BP&L (Vol.lv) dated l9'n September,2008 and in terms ofthe provisions contained in Clause (xi) ofthe IPTV Guidelines, the following channels, as notified by the Central Government vide Notification S.O.2693 dated 5In September 2013 under sub-section (1) of Section 8 ofthe Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act. 1995. are to be mandatorilv included in the IPTV Service: -

It shall be obligatory for every IPTV Service Provider to provide the above channels to the subscribers, irrespective of any bouque(s) or a-la-carte channel(s) being subscribed by them. The IPTV Service Provider shall also place the above channels in the respective genre and shall display them in full television screen. 3. This issues with the approval ofthe competent authority.
