Yellow Stem borer: To control Spray Fipronil 1.5 ml/lit of water or Cypermethrin 2 ml/lit of water. Bacterial leaf blight: Spray Agrimycin 5 gram/18 lit of water. Maize Tasseling Fall Armyworm, Fall Armyworm: Infestation of the Fall Corn borer Armyworm may arise. Spray Emamectin Stem Benzoate 7 gram/ 15 liter of water or BorerHarvesting Emamectin Benzoate+ Novaluron 5-6 ml/ 15 litre of water during evening time to control during the initial infestation. Weeding can be done at 20-21 days old plants. A hand weeding can be beneficial at this time. To protect the crop from chilling injury, apply Potash in the appropriate amount. Apply Nitrogen @ 3 kg/bigha at Knee high stage. In Maize field if corn borer found in the field, spray cypermethrin 2ml/ litter of water. If stem borer observed apply Phorate 10G @ 4kg/acre at the time of second earthing up. Give irrigation if needed. Harvesting: In the fields where the cobs are near the maturity stage stop irrigation those fields, and start harvesting after 5 days. Tobacco caterpillar: The small caterpillars after coming out from eggs eat Chlorophyll from the bottom side of the leaves and show burned dry spots in leaves. Big and old caterpillars cut the stems of the small plants and cut the leaves of the old plants. During day time it hids in the shed of leaves and in the cracks of soils. In per square meter if 6 caterpillars are found then control is necessary. Control: 1) In the field if we keep stubbles then caterpillars took shelters Tobacco caterpillar, inside the stubbles then it is easy to collect Tobacco Mosaic and burn caterpillars. 2) Spray 1.5-gram B.T Tobacco Virus or 3 mili azadirachtin 1% per liter of water. 3) If needed 12 kg Chlorpyriphos 1.5% dust or 12 kg Fenvelarate 0.4 dust can be broadcasted. Tobacco Mosaic Virus: The infested leaves show characteristic mottling with light and green patches and seedlings are stunted. Control: Workers should disinfect their hands with soap and running water before weeding or handling seedlings. Disease seedlings should be removed and destroyed. Workers should not chew or smoke while at work in nursery. Cultivate high protein containing Moong bean in short time, minimum investment and with very limited irrigation. It will simultaneously increase your income and Field soil quality. During March complete the preparation, sowing with seed rate of 2.5-4 kg/bigha in Moong Seed line sowing. Seed treatment: for seed use Bean collection, treatment Mancozeb 75% 3 gram or Thiram Seed 75% 2 gram or Captan 75% 2 gram. treatment Rhizobium treatment must be done 7 days before seed treatment.
