JANUARY 2020 PROJECT PURPOSE The Silver Line will provide passenger rail connections that improve mobility, accessibility and system linkages to major employment, population and activity centers in the northern part of the DART Service Area, as well as support sustainable growth, local and regional land-use visions, and economic development. Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is the lead agency. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is serving as a cooperating agency, and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) as a participating agency.
