clerogibbidae (Hymenoptera: Chrysidoidea) is a small INPA - Coleção de Invertebrados do Instituto Nacional de family of ectoparasitoids on (Ro s s 2000). It is Pesquisas da Amazônia, Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil, (Curator: widespread over the warm-temperate regions of the world, M.L. Oliveira). where 22 species (Ro s s 2000; Ol m i 2006) are distributed in three genera: Caenosclerogibba Yasumatsu, 1958, Probethylus LRRP - Coleção Entomológica do Laboratório de Sistemática e Ashmead, 1902 and Sclerogibba Riggio & Stefani-Perez, 1888 Bioecologia de Parasitoides e Predadores da APTA Ribeirão Preto, (Ol m i 2005). Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, (Curator: N.W. Perioto).

Probethylus is the only genus of Sclerogibbidae known to occur MZSP - Museu de Zoologia da Universidade de São Paulo, São in the Neotropics, its distribution ranging from Mexico to Paulo, Brazil, (Curator: C.R.F. Brandão). Argentina (Ol m i 2005; Sc h ü e p p & Ol m i 2012). In Brazil there are Species distributions in Brazil were assembled in a dataset and occurrence records for Probethylus callani Richards, 1939 and incorporated into distribution maps. Geographic coordinates of Probethylus schwarzi Ashmead, 1901 (Ol m i 2005; Fe r n a n d e s the species records were found using the GeoLoc tool, available 2016). Pe n t e a d o -Di a s & v a n Ac h t e r b e r g (2002) reported the at CRIA’s website (http://splink.cria.org.br). The map was genus in Brazil for the first time, in the states of São Paulo and elaborated using the Quantum GIS (http://www.qgis.org). Minas Gerais, and later, Ol m i (2005) extended its distribution for Amazonas, Ceará, Pernambuco, Bahia, Espírito Santo, Rio de Supplementary data in material examined section is given within Janeiro, Paraná and Santa Catarina. Herein we provide notes on brackets []. range extensions in Brazil for P. callani and P. schwarzi. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION MATERIAL AND METHODS

This study was based on material deposited in the following Probethylus callani Richards, 1939 institutions: Material examined: (65 males) BRAZIL, Alagoas: Quebrangulo, Reserva Biol[ógica] Pedra Talhada, (09º19’S / 36º28’W), Malaise-bosque, pto. 6, 08-11.IX.2002, Penteado-
