The and S eine rivers burst their bank s and 4,000 people were evacuated from the town of Nemours. S ome areas reported the worst flooding seen in a century. The Emergency Management S ervice R isk & R ecovery activation ‘’EMS N-028 : Flood delineation and damage assessment, France’’ has been requested by the French authorities in order to map flooding, infer maximum flooding and flood w ater depths, and assess the damages of the floods occurred over the S eine R iver located upstream to P aris, and its tributary the Loing R iver, from to Montargis. No damage on river bank s and dik es has been identified, thus this layer is not displayed in this map.
