Implementation Guidelines for Ansi Asc X12 Edi Conventions Routing and Carrier Instructions (853) Transaction Set Fca Us Inform IMPLEMENTATION GUIDELINES FOR ANSI ASC X12 EDI CONVENTIONS ROUTING AND CARRIER INSTRUCTIONS (853) TRANSACTION SET FCA US INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT ANSI ASC X12 VERSION/RELEASE 003021 FCA US - Routing and Carrier Instructions 853 Routing and Carrier Instruction Functional Group ID=RI Introduction: This standard provides the format and establishes the data contents of the routing and carrier instruction transaction set. This transaction set provides the sender with the capability to transmit detailed routing and carrier information pertinent to a route. This transaction set only provides routing information and does not convey information about a shipping event or provide shipping authorization. Notes: A generalized routing instruction transaction set provides for the customary and established business practice relative to the issuance of routing information to both supplier and carrier organizations. A routing instruction lists the shipping instructions between a 'Ship-from' and a Ship-to' location and includes information such as supplier and carrier name and address information, Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC), service/mode codes, pool points, weight breaks, and specific notes as they apply to the 'Ship -from' and 'Ship-to' locations. FCA US will transmit the Routing and Carrier Instruction (853) to communicate with both suppliers and carriers. FCA US will inform: 1) Suppliers which carriers to use when shipping material to FCA US facilities 2) Carriers which supplier ship points and destinations carriers have agreed to service The EDI 864 Text transaction set will also be transmitted to suppliers along with the 853 Routing and Carrier Instructions. The purpose of the 864 Text transaction will be to include the generalized and specific notes. The electronic transmission of supplier routing instructions helps integrate the total supply activity by coordinating the transportation Logistics function with Purchasing, Material Control and Scheduling, and Supplier Quality. Carriers will be notified of new or changing business along points on a carrier routing. The latest Routing and Carrier Instruction (853) for each FCA US location will contain the guidelines a carrier should use to move FCA US's parts from the start date forward. This authorization is the result of a new Carrier Purchase Order (CPO) or an amendment to an existing CPO that has been negotiated for business activity from an origin shipping point to a FCA US plant, pool point, or third party supplier. Notes about the new format of this implementation guide: 1. The requirements contained herein have not changed, with the exception of anything that may appear in the History of Changes section below. 2. The term 'Base Status' refers to the requirements as defined by the ASC X12 Standards Organization. 03/05/2015 V/R 003021 1 FCA US FCA US - Routing and Carrier Instructions 3. The terms 'User Status' and 'User Attributes' refer to FCA US requirements. 4. Data segment sequence tables for table area will no longer be presented at the beginning of each area. The data segment sequence tables for each hierarchical level will now be presented at the beginning. 5. Segment Syntax and Semantic notes as defined by ASC X12 will now be included where in the 'old' format they were not. 6. Element Descriptions as defined by ASC X12 will now be included where in the 'old' format they were not. 7. Many comments that relate to a particular code value will now appear underneath the code value description, where previously the comments would appear to the right. Auto Plant and Supplier Activity in the I-39 Corridor Over the past several months, the I-39 Corridor has become the I- 39 Automotive Corridor. News of the upcoming retooling at the Fiat Chrysler plant in July produced several announcements of new auto suppliers in I-39 communities. Fiat-Chrysler - Belvidere. The Belvidere Assembly plant will begin manufacturing the larger Jeep Cherokee in 2017. The larger vehicle replaces the Dodge Dart and other compact SUV and crossover vehicles previously made in Belvidere. Fiat Chrysler plans to increase production of Jeep Cherokees by about 40% -- to 300,000 vehicles per year -- according to the Rockford Register Star. LandMark Construction began building a new 336,000 square foot building in Belvidere in July 2016. The facility will be operated by Yanfeng Automotive Interiors and bring 400 new jobs to the area.

Major expansions were implemented in 1952, 1964, 1965 and 1986. FCA confirmed on June 25, 2014, that it would invest $63 million to expand capacity at the facility. The investment was used to purchase and install the latest high-speed Servo Tandem Press technology (a 180- inch press line). The new press line has increased capacity by up to 12,000 hits per day or approximately 3.6 million parts per year. On Feb. 26, 2019,FCA announced that it would invest $245 million in the facility to support additional production of Jeep® and Ram vehicles being created as part of a $4.5 billion investment announcement that will impact five existing Michigan facilities and build a new assembly plant within the city of Detroit. In total, the proposed projects will create nearly 6,500 new jobs. World Class Manufacturing Accomplishments Warren Stamping was designated a silver plant for its results in implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM) on March 28, 2018.     FCA US LLC Page 1 Proposed Permit No. 13-19B April 28, 2021 TECHNICAL FACT SHEET April 28, 2021 Purpose and Summary The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Air Quality Division (AQD), is proposing to act on Permit to Install (PTI) application No. 13-19B from FCA US LLC (FCA). The permit application is for proposed modifications to a previously permitted project involving a new automotive paint shop and changes to the existing automotive assembly line at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant (Warren Truck). Construction of the project is underway, as allowed under PTI No. 13-19A. The proposed modifications are subject to permitting requirements of the Department’s Rules for Air Pollution Control and state and federal Nonattainment New Source Review (NNSR) regulations. Prior to acting on this application, the AQD is holding a public comment period and a public hearing, if requested in writing, to allow all interested parties the opportunity to comment on the proposed PTI. All relevant information received during the comment period and hearing, if held, will be considered by the decision maker prior to taking final action on the application. Background Information FCA owns and operates the existing Warren Truck Assembly Plant (Warren Truck), which consists of a body shop, a paint shop (with an additional paint shop currently under construction), and a final assembly operation, located at 21500 Mound Road, Warren, Macomb County, Michigan. Warren Truck operates under Renewable Operating Permit (ROP) No. MI-ROP-B2767-2016. Proposed Project FCA is proposing to modify an already approved, but not completely installed, project on an existing automotive assembly line at Warren Truck.
