The Jeep Patriot is built in the United States at the Belvidere Assembly Plant in Belvidere, Ill. Highlights • The 2017 Jeep Patriot is powered by the 2.0-litre I-4 World Gas Engine, which produces 158 horsepower and 141 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to a five-speed manual on Sport models and a CVT transmission on High Altitude • The 2017 Jeep Patriot’s powertrain is designed to deliver world-class performance and refinement in all weather conditions and highway fuel economy as efficient as 7.8 L/100 km (36 MPG), all at an affordable, value-packed price • The 2017 Jeep Patriot offers an optional powertrain, the 2.4-litre DOHC 16-valve dual variable- valve timing (VVT) I-4 engine, which produces 172 horsepower. This active four-wheel-drive system is recommended for daily use, including slick conditions that come with rain and light snow. Freedom Drive I also features a lockable centre coupling, giving drivers the ability to put the Jeep Patriot in four-wheel-drive lock mode to handle deep snow, sand and other low-traction surfaces. • The Jeep Freedom Drive II 4x4 Off-road Package is an available four-wheel-drive system that includes: second-generation CVT2L that engages when the off-road mode is activated, 19:1 crawl ratio, 17-inch all-terrain tires and aluminum wheels, a full-size spare tire, skid plates, tow hooks, fog lamps and manual seat height adjuster. This package is recommended for off-road situations that include steep grades, occasional wheel lift and rock or log climbing. Important notes applicable for the complete list hereunder The European Union Fuel Quality Directive (1) introduced a new market petrol specification from 1st January 2011 that may contain up to 10% ethanol by volume (10 %vol). Such petrol is commonly known as ‘E10’. It is up to the individual country of the European Union and fuel marketers to decide if and when to introduce E10 petrol to the market and so far E10 petrol has only been introduced in Finland, France, Germany and Belgium. For vehicles equipped with a spark-ignition (petrol) engine introduced into the EU market, this list indicates their compatibility (or otherwise) with the use of E10 petrol. 2. Note In countries that offer E10 petrol, before you fill your vehicle with petrol please check that your vehicle is compatible with the use of E10 petrol. If, by mistake, you put E10 petrol into a vehicle that is not declared compatible with the use of E10 petrol, it is recommended that you contact your local vehicle dealer, the vehicle manufacturer or roadside assistance provider who may advise that the fuel tank be drained. If it is necessary to drain the fuel from the tank then you should ensure it is done by a competent organisation and the tank is refilled with the correct grade of petrol for your vehicle. Owners experiencing any issues when using E10 petrol are advised to contact their local vehicle dealer or vehicle manufacturer and to use instead 95RON (or 98RON) petrol that might be identified by ‘E5’ (or have no specific additional marking) in those countries that offer E10 petrol.

This impressive portfolio of SUVs provides Jeep dealers with an unprecedented opportunity to grow the brand by offering a variety of products that will excite our current customers and attract new ones.” The expansion of the Jeep brand took place in just two years. At the start of 2004, the brand’s trio of tough, capable, rugged SUVs included the venerable Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Liberty — the retail sales leader among mid-size SUVs — and the icon of the brand, the Jeep Wrangler (2-door). In 2005, the Jeep Commander — the first Jeep vehicle with seven-passenger seating — was introduced as a 2006 model. In 2006, the redesigned Wrangler 2-door was unveiled as a 2007 model. Also debuting were three all-new Jeep vehicles: the Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass — both of which provide Jeep 4x4 capability along with excellent fuel economy, safety and interior flexibility at a great value, and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, the first-ever four-door Wrangler. Also for 2007, Jeep Grand Cherokee was the first to offer a diesel engine in the full-size SUV segment and a flex-fuel capable 4.7-liter V-8 engine, which gives customers the ability to use up to an 85 percent concentration of ethanol (E-85) to fuel their vehicles.

Recognized for its efforts in expanding the implementation of WCM principles, the Illinois facility is the Company’s 10th North American manufacturing location overall to achieve the silver milestone and the first plant this year. WCM is the structured and rigorous FCA production system designed to make plants more flexible and competitive by eliminating waste and losses, improving safety and quality, and increasing productivity in a systematic and organized way. First implemented by Fiat in 2006 and introduced to Chrysler Group as part of the alliance between the two companies in June 2009, WCM principles are applied to all aspects of the plant organization, from quality to maintenance, operations to logistics, with the goal of continuous improvement.     February 2017 Dealer Service Instructions for: Safety Recall S89 / NHTSA 16V-907 Crankshaft Camshaft Sensor Wire Harness Models 2016 (JC) Dodge Journey 2016 (MK) Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot NOTE: This recall applies only to the above vehicles equipped with a 2.0L (sales code ECN or ECT) or 2.4L (sales code ED3 or ED7) engine built from May 08, 2016 through July 12, 2016 (MDH 050800 through 071216). IMPORTANT: Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer new vehicle inventory. Federal law requires you to complete this recall service on these vehicles before retail delivery. Dealers should also consider this requirement to apply to used vehicle inventory and should perform this recall on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process. Subject The crankshaft sensor and/or camshaft sensor electrical connector terminal(s) on about 43,000 of the above vehicles may have been improperly manufactured. Improperly manufactured crankshaft or camshaft sensor electrical connector terminal(s) could result in an intermittent electrical connection. An intermittent electrical connection could cause a “no start” condition, the engine to stall while driving, and/or the illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). The Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass concepts are compact Jeep 4x4s that would deliver fun, freedom, utility, capability, as well as the potential for exceptional fuel economy and interior flexibility — all at a great value. Making their debut at the 2005 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, these concepts hint at two future compact SUVs that the Jeep brand could build for global markets as soon as next year. With the potential for the powerful yet fuel-efficient all-new 2.4-liter World Engine and a state-of-the-art 2.0-liter diesel (for international markets), the Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass concepts could be coupled with a new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). All-new Jeep technology also would give these two concepts Jeep 4x4 capability.
