Over the past 16 years, the ŚŝůĚƌĞŶ͛ƐŚĂƌŝƚŝĞƐ&ŽƵŶĚĂƚŝŽŶ(CCF) has been able to distribute more than $8.2 million dollars in grants to organizations that serve children in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. All of us associated with the BB&T Classic and CCF feel privileged to be able to have an impact on our community during these difficult economic times. There are countless families dealing with unemployment, poverty, inadequate medical care, and homelessness. Many nonprofits are struggling to stay afloat. The money that we raise can make the difference in keeping an essential program alive. It is in these areas that we want to focus our efforts.
