Local Development Plan

PANTYMWYN - SETTLEMENT SERVICE AUDIT Settlement Commentary is a rural village 4 miles west of Mold. The village has grown in a ribbon pattern and is elongated around 4 different roads making for a distinctive shaped settlement on a plan. The village lies adjacent the Clwydian Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and enjoys an attractive rural landscape setting. The village has very few services and it is likely that residents will be dependent upon facilities and services in nearby villages, such as the primary schools in Gwernaffield and and the wide range of facilities in Mold.

This is a very poor standard of broadband provision which will adversely impact the ability of local residents and businesses alike whether in undertaking day to day business activities or in accessing online services such as banking, post office services or online shopping. Other Comments The settlement features a golf course with clubhouse facilities.
