Pecan Grove Women's Club: We will resume meetings as soon as it is safe for everyone to attend. When that time comes, please join us at the Pecan Grove Country Club on the second Tuesday of each month except during the summer. You do not need to be a member of the Country Club to attend our meetings. The George Foundation is funding HGI Counseling through their generous grant. It has been providing counseling services to Fort Bend residents for the past four and a half years, and it is open to everyone. It has a sliding scale for fees, and often offers pro-bono (no fee) to qualifying residents. No one is turned away, and there is a Walk-In Counseling Program where no appointment is needed for those in crisis or who do not want to wait for an appointment. Congratulations to Fort Bend Martial Arts Academy for being voted the "Best Martial Arts School" in Fort Bend County for the year 2020! This is the sixth year the school has been awarded this honor. In order to accommodate demand, the School relocated from Slaters Sports Zone to a larger facility on FM 723. FBMA teaches traditional Taekwondo and offers a competition program as well. It is a seasonal tradition to line the yards with holiday lights in Pecan Grove. This practice turns Pecan Grove into a magical wonderland that people come to see from near and far. It has also been a tradition to have an annual Christmas Lighting Contest.

People come from near and far to enjoy the experience of Christmas within Pecan Grove and we appreciate every home-owner’s efforts to make the message of hope, , love and joy of Christmas come alive in Pecan Grove with our lighting displays.

Each winner will receive a $50.00 gift certificate to dine at Clancy's Public House on Hwy. 359; this prize is sponsored by the Pecan Grove Property Owners' Association. *We will again have several "POA Hall of Fame" awards

Each of the seven areas will have awards placed in their yards for the following:

1st, 2nd, 3rd “Best Use of Lights Theme” And “Best in the Eyes of a Child Theme”

In addition, there will be two awards overall for the entire Pecan Grove POA neighborhood: “Neighborhood Street with Best Overall Lights” “Neighborhood Cul-de-Sac with Best Overall Lights”
