Welcome to the 2018-2019 interscholastic athletic programs at Hagerty High School. HHS has quickly developed a tradition of success measured by wins and I would first like to commend you on your decision to participate within the athletic championships. Winning is a natural goal and is emphasized on the varsity levels - programs at HHS. In choosing to become involved in your school outside of the but never at the expense of healthy attitudes, values and individuals. At sub-varsity classroom, not only will you experience the joy of athletic competition, but also the levels, winning remains a goal but is subordinate to skill development and camaraderie of team sports. High school athletics is a valuable component of a well- participation. Above all, we want all of our athletes to have a rewarding and rounded student. I hope you find your experience here at HHS to be rewarding and enjoyable experience while attending Hagerty High School. enjoyable. Athletic Eligibility: Athletic participation is contingent upon two main factors, HHS Athletic Department academic standing and enrollment approval. Oviedo High School Principal’s Weekly Update January 25, 2021 PSAT/NMSQT for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders – Tuesday, January 26, 2021 On Tuesday, January 26th Oviedo High School will be administering the PSAT/NMSQT to all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors enrolled at OHS. This includes any students currently under SCVS, Seminole Connect, or hybrid schedules. Seniors will be completing their required 5 hour Mental Health education courses at home this day through Nearpod and will receive an e-mail to their School accounts with login information. Students in grades 9 through 11 will participate in the PSAT for the entirety of the school day. Students, please remember to bring fresh number 2 pencils with good erasers, a snack, and a calculator for the PSAT. All students must provide their own calculator - both scientific and graphing calculators are permissible. If students haven’t earned their math assessment graduation requirement, they need to earn a 430 or higher on the math section of the PSAT. These students received an email notifying them of this opportunity. Earning a 430 or higher will help them be one step closer to graduation. Students will not be able to access their cellular or smart devices until after testing concludes, even during breaks. Students will be dismissed for their 30 minute lunch after the conclusion of testing. For standard time students the test will begin at 7:20 and conclude at 11:20. After lunch students will return to their testing room for study hall. -
