After 12 years, Brokeback Mountain’s box office was overcome by not one but 2 movies: Lady Bird and The Shape of Water. Some of us thought we’d never have another film as “big” asBrokeback , and to have two at the same time is nothing short of extraordinary! March is Membership Month at The Loft Cinema. See pages 9 and 10 for more information about how to double your free passes while supporting your local independent Loft Cinema. Our approximately 6,000 members provide funds that help us maintain our level of excellence…and, in addition to free passes, Loft Cinema members get lots of other perks, including, of course, free popcorn! We also want to let you know that we have officially signed the paperwork to make The Loft Cinema solar-powered, which also means covered parking! The energy generated will power the entire main building, and we expect to have construction completed by the end of the year! Have a great March!
