Sits on a display plaque. Box measures 14"L x 6.25"W x 5"H. Manufactured by Motor Max. 73106 in RED color. Individually packed in a window box.

From the design cues fo the famous classic roadster 507 to sneak preview of the concept car Z07 in 1997, BMW has created the year 2000 Z8 roadster. From the long sloping hood to the shark gill cut out vents, the Z8 has captured the spirit of the 507 in a modern and the most elegant and luxurious form. Add machine guns and missiles, it became James Bond's mode of transportation in the new Bond Movie "The world is not enough". Driven by the same V8 engine as the BMW Motorsport M5, combining with lighter construction materials; the Z8 promises acceleration and handling on par with any other exotic sports cars that can cost 2-3 times as much. And with BMW technology, you even get fiber optics for the turn signal lights in the front fenders, replacing the conventional copper wiring and light bulbs. Only 500 production Z8's are scheduled for North American bound in 2000, chanes are: one half of the 340 dealers can sell a brand new first year Z8, besides the demo or display unit they have on the show floor.

Item#: 18125GN 18125GN SIGNATURE MODELS 1962 BMW LS Luxus Hard Top. 1:18 scale diecast collectible model car. This 1962 BMW LS Luxus is an 8.5" long diecast car with opening doors/hood/trunk, free wheels, workable steering, and detailed engine and components. This 62 BMW LS Luxus is manufactured by Signature Models. 18125 in GREEN color. Individually packed in a window box.

The 700 model was the car heralded as turning around BMW in the late 1950s. When BMW showed off the 700 coupe and sedan model at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the autumn of 1959, it received enough orders for two years of production. The 700 was masterminded by Willy Black, the man who had designed the 600 that it replaced, Black again drew on the company's motorcycle technology, but this time, he enlarged the twin-cylinder engine of the R67 motorcycle to get the power he needed for this larger car. Giovanni Michelotti of Italy styled the car, carrying over themes from his Triumph Herald, a contemporary of the 700. His first sketch was for a slant-roof coupe, which appealed to BMW although the company wanted more passenger room. Michelotti returned with a sketch of a saloon variant, and BMW decided to build both. The 700 Coupe entered production in August 1959 and the 700 Saloon joined it at the end of the year.
