Approximately 60,000 Americans are diagnosed with PD each year, and 16,000 people in Nashville alone are diagnosed with the disease. It is estimated that nearly one million people will be living with Parkinson's disease (PD) in the US by 2020, which is more than the combined number of people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and Lou Gehrig's disease (or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

“We are so grateful to Michael Ray, Walker County and Charlie Marie for stepping up and lending their voices to this important initiative. The Loveless Events team has also been so supportive of our event,” stated Alexa Simpson, Founder and Chairman of Team Fox Nashville. “We are fortunate to be launching our first Concert for a Cure in Music City and have a headline talent such as Michael Ray and this stunning venue step up to support us. We are grateful and humbled to be able to host such a significant event to benefit MJFF.”

About Walker County

Ivy Dene and Sophie Dawn comprise the sister duo Walker County. Originally from Sulpher Springs, IN, the Walker sisters fostered their love of music with frequent trips to Nashville, busking on lower Broadway. They relocated to Nashville fulltime four years ago to fully pursue their musical destiny. With Ivy masterfully maneuvering an outstanding range as lead vocals, her younger counterpart Sophie harmonizes beautifully and keeps the rhythm playing drums. Walker County can tout itself a full family affair as the duo’s father, Billy Walker, plays lead guitar for the band. Walker County extends their roots into traditional country, intertwining their soulfulness with southern rock flair. The duo have shared the stage with country greats like Dwight Yoakam, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn and Martina McBride as well as breakout acts like Old Dominion and Eli Young Band. Walker County has been turning heads since they first stepped on stage.

About Charlie Marie Providence, Rhode Island may not be the first city one thinks of when pondering where a country singer got their start, but Charlie Marie is here to prove that “everywhere has a country side.” Charlie Marie, like so many great , was first introduced to music by her grandmother. At ten years old, she was already hooked on Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Her admiration for

2 their craft and delivery had only multiplied since and shines through in her collection of songs. It is evident, in Charlie Marie’s sultry and dynamic vocal range, that she takes just as much from the greats as she does contemporary modern troubadours. Sure, she may have cut her song-writing teeth in Nashville, but, it wasn’t until Charlie moved back home to Rhode Island and away from the neon glow of Music Row, that she truly found her unique and defining sound. The sound that can both ignite the honky-tonk flame and silence the rowdiest of professional drinking crowds. Charlie Marie writes songs that evoke feelings of hope and positivity through the trenches of the toughest heartaches, evoking the true sense of country and western music.
