Conducted trip to Cambodia to develop Department’s study abroad program at Pannasastra University of Cambodian (PUC); Service learning and Co-Op opportunities; Faculty exchange initiatives; Special collections; Initiatives that involve collaboration between Cultural Studies and other UML departments/ programs, such as the UML Department of Music; the UML Peace and Conflict Studies Program; the UML Department of Environmental, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences; International initiatives at the University level involving partnerships in Cambodia (MOU’s, etc); the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam); Pannasastra University. Developed a proposal for a BLA concentration in Asian Studies; served as coordinator of the Asian Studies; traveled to Cambodia (January 2011) to meet with the president of the Pannasastra University of Cambodian (PUC) and other institutions to discuss possible collaboration and exchange resulting in an MOU with UML.
