Yangon – Mt. Popa – – Yangon 3 Days / 2 Nights Trip

Itinerary Day 1 : 21 Nov 2015 Saturday Transfer car will pick you up at 05:00 from Park Royal Hotel and transfer to Yangon Airport.  Yangon to Bagan by morning flight. ETA 08:00. Welcoming at Nyaung-Oo (Bagan) Airport. Direct transfer to Tant-Kyi-Taung, the

hill located across the , by transfer car and river-boat. Administratively Tant-Kyi-Taung is in Pakokku District, Magway Division whereas Nyaung-Oo (Bagan) of East Bank is in Division. On arrival the west bank of Irrawaddy light trucks are arranged, these trucks are local transports of

the area, hilly and rocky roads. East bank of Irrawaddy, Bagan At Tant-Kyi-Taung :-  Study Yenangyat structure [ A large Petroliferous, Thrusted Anticline ]

Return back to Bagan by boat. Lunch at Bagan. Taung-Ka-lat, Mount Popa After lunch set out to Tu-Yin-Taung.  Study North of 2nd line of structure  V iew Oligocene outcrop  Shwezettaw Fm / Padaung Fm Transfer to Mount Popa. [ to study Igneous and volcanic rocks ]

Dinner & night stop at Popa Mountain Resort.

Day 2 : 22 Nov 2015 Sunday

Breakfast at hotel and check out. Set out to Minbu.  Study Miocene outcrops & Mud Volcanoes. On the way back from Minbu, we will visit the world famous giant scale Yenanchaung O il field.

 to take the LUNCH at Yenanchaung. Lunch will be hosted by Schlumberger.  After lunch, proceeds the return trip to Bagan. On the way, to take a glance at Gwe-cho Thrust & Oligocene outcrop. Irrawaddy Bridge, Magway  Padaung Fm / Okhmintaung Fm

 Dinner at Amata Boutique House Bagan.

Day 3 : 23 Nov 2015 Monday V isit Nyaung-Oo Market, a typical Upper Myanmar market place relied upon by a hub of villages and towns neighboring around. Shwe-zi-gon Pagoda, an exquisite feature of Myanmar stupa built on sandstones ; Ananda Temple, a temple of massive and finest brick works. That-byin-nyu Temple, rising to a height of 201 feet above the ground overlooking other monuments around.

- 2 - Continue sightseeing Mya-ze-di Pagoda where one most important stone script was

originally erected to mark the merit of constructing this stupa, by Prince Raja Kumara who had consent to pass the Bagan throne of father.
