EJ Onu led the Bears with 18 points Team Conf. Overall and nine rebounds, while Juwan Grant added 16 points and 10 (3) Pikeville (Ky.) 11-3 28-5 rebounds in the winning effort. (9) Georgetown (Ky.) 9-5 27-7 (17) Cumberlands (Ky.) 8-6 21-10 Northwestern Ohio are also 1-0 after beginning the season with a (21) Life (Ga.) 8-6 20-11 road win. The Racers defeated Taylor (Ind.) 66-64, rallying late and (RV) Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) 6-8 24-9 getting a buzzer-beater from Zach Montes to clinch the victory. Thomas led the Bears to a 14-17 record in his first season. SHAWNEE STATE INFORMATION Thomas has a broad history of coaching Location: Portsmouth, Ohio Founded: 1986 experience.
