Some nnteresting records collected from 1990 to 1999 are reported. First records of Holocnemus oluchei for Rheinland-Pfalz and Baden-Württemberg and of Uloborus plumipes for Hessen and Schleswig-Holstein are listed. The occurrence of Heteropoda venatoria in Germany is confirmed by recent records in warmhouses in Berlin. Pardosa saturatior is collected from the Bavarian part of the Alps (National Park Berchtesgaden). Information on biology and laxonomy of Pardosa saturatior, Holocnemus pluchei and Heteropoda venatoria are given. BIGAZZI received 18 May 1998; revised version accepted 30 July 1998 ABSTRACT - A revision of the Italian entities of Anchusa and of the rdated genera Anchusella, Lycopsis, Cynoglottis, Hormuzakia and Pentaglottis was carried out in view of the poor systematic knowledge of some entities of the national flora. The taxonomic treatment relies on a wide comparative basis, including macro- and micromorphological, karyological, chorological and ecological data. After a general description of some poorly known microCharacters of vegetative and reproductive structures, analytical keys, nomenclatural types, synonymies, descriptions, distribution maps and iconographies are provided for each entity. -

Chapter 5 Assessing Potential Areas of Ecotourism through a Case Study in Ilgaz Mountain National Park Mehmet Cetin and Hakan Sevik Additional information is available at the end of the chapter http://dx.doi.org/10.5772/62573 Abstract The changing demands of tourism provide greater benefits to tourists and generate competitive advantages that develop diversity in tourism. Elements of ecotourism fit within this context, and such tourism includes, but is not limited to, activities such as visiting natural and cultural resources without destroying nature, which are carried out with an aim toward sustainability. Ilgaz Mountain has a wealth of natural, cultural, historical, and recreational features, and its location near the Black Sea gives the area significant tourism potential. In order to evaluate the impact, potential, and possibili‐ ties of ecotourism in this protected area, we used geographic information systems (GIS) to determine the nature of protection required based on implementation availability. In this study, we used ecology-based identification of the natural and cultural values to characterize the features. The study consists of four parts: (1) the concept of ecotourism, (2) discussion of sustainable growth of tourism, (3) sustainability of ecotourism using GIS and how this is related to sustainable ecotourism in protected areas, such as in Turkey, (4) results and evaluation. By assessing these results, we aim to determine potential areas for ecotourism in terms of sustainable development, and we expect the results to provide useful ideas for further research. Box 10380, Stn. Sainte-Foy, Québec, Quebec, Canada G1V 4C7 Abstract—The fauna of introduced rove beetles (Staphylinidae) in the Maritime Provinces of Canada is surveyed. Seventy-nine species have now been recorded. Of these, 73 have been found in Nova Scotia, 29 on Prince Edward Island, and 54 in New Brunswick. Twenty-five species are newly recorded in Nova Scotia, 16 on Prince Edward Island, and 10 in New Brunswick, for a total of 51 new provincial records. Of these, 15 species, Tachinus corticinus Gravenhorst, Mycetoporus lepidus (Gravenhorst), Habrocerus capillaricornis (Gravenhorst), Aleochara (Xenochara) lanuginosa Gravenhorst, Gnypeta caerulea (C.R. Sahlberg), Atheta (Microdota) amicula (Stephens), Cordalia obscura (Gravenhorst), Drusilla canaliculata (Fabricius), Deleaster dichrous (Gravenhorst), Coprophilus striatulus (Fabricius), Carpelimus subtilis (Erichson), Leptacinus intermedius Donisthorpe, Tasgius (Rayacheila) melanarius (Heer), Neobisnius villosulus (Stephens), and Philonthus discoideus (Gravenhorst), are newly recorded in the Maritime Prov- inces. Two of these, Atheta (Microdota) amicula and Carpelimus subtilis, are newly recorded in Canada. Leptacinus intermedius is removed from the faunal list of New Brunswick and Philhygra botanicarum Muona, a Holarctic species previously regarded as introduced in North America, is re- corded for the first time in the Maritime Provinces. An examination of when species were first de- tected in the region reveals that, on average, it was substantially later than comparable dates for other, better known families of Coleoptera — an apparent indication of the comparative lack of at- tention this family has received. -

List of 735 prioritised plant taxa of CARE-MEDIFLORA project In situ and/or ex situ conservation actions were implemented during CARE-MEDIFLORA for 436 of the prioritised plant taxa. Island(s) of occurrence: Balearic Islands (Ba), Corsica (Co), Sardinia (Sa), Sicily (Si), Crete (Cr), Cyprus (Cy) Occurrence: P = present; A = alien (not native to a specific island); D = doubtful presence Distribution type: ENE = Extremely Narrow Endemic (only one population) NE = Narrow Endemic (≤ five populations) RE = Regional Endemic (only one Island) IE = Insular Endemic (more than one island) W = distributed in more islands or in a wider area. Distribution type defines the "regional responsibility" of an Island on a plant species. Criteria: Red Lists (RL): plant species selected is included in the red list (the plant should be EN, CR or VU in order to justify a conservation action); Regional Responsibility (RR): plant species selected plays a key role for the island; the "regional responsibility" criterion is the first order of priority at local level, because it establishes a high priority to plants whose distribution is endemic to the study area (an island in our specific case). Habitats Directive (HD): plant species selected is listed in the Annexes II and V of the Habitat Directive. Herein, we present the morphological and diagnostic characters and illustrations of the genitalia of both the male and female members of this species. Key words: Anatolia, fauna, Mediterranean, spider, Taurus Mountains Dysderocrates Deeleman-Reinhold & Deeleman, PMEd, diameter of posterior median eyes. Chelicera: ChF, 1988, belonging to the family Dysderidae and subfamily length of cheliceral fang; ChG, length of cheliceral groove; Dysderinae, is represented by six extant species. Three ChL, total length of chelicera (lateral external view). Legs: species, D. egregius (Kulczyński, 1897), D. silvestris Ta, tarsus; Me, metatarsus, Ti, tibia; Pa, patella; Fe, femur; Deeleman-Reinhold, 1988, and D. storkani (Kratochvíl, C, coxa; D, dorsal; Pl, p rolateral; Rl, retrolateral; Pv, 1935), are scattered in the Balkans and Eastern Europe, proventral; Rv, retroventral; V, ventral. while D. gasparoi Deeleman-Reinhold, 1988 and D. marani Taxonomy (Kratochvíl, 1937) are found on the islands of Corfu and Genus Dysderocrates Deeleman-Reinhold & Crete, respectively, and D. regina is found in Turkey. There Deeleman, 1988 is no record of the species from southern Turkey or the Type species: Harpactocrates storkani Kratochvíl, Caucasus (Bayram et al., 2017; WSC, 2017).
