Programming Alexandra Beresford this year’s festival has been exciting, from choosing the Offcial Selection Andrew Lambeth from over 30 countries, to organising this year’s masterclasses, networking Abbe Robinson Chris Brooke events and guest screenings. We have a rich selection of flms from across the Lumen Arts world, in genres including drama, comedy, thriller, documentary, animation, experimental, artists’ flm, music video and a new family friendly programme. Discussing how the genre is developing, he will explore the notion of what documentary is in 2013 PRICE and what makes a good non-fction flm. £8.50 Warp Films VENUE Barry Ryan on Warp Films York Theatre Royal Warp Films is known and respected the world over for such modern classics as Four Lions, Dead Man’s Shoes TIME and This Is England. Producer Barry Ryan will cover the 13:30 - 15:00 breadth of Warp’s projects, encompassing a dynamic range of shorts and features, and offer insights into PRICE production and how to stand out in the flm industry. £8.50 Film London VENUE Maggie Ellis: FIlm London York St John University Film London is the capital’s flm and media agency. Maggie Ellis, head of Artists’ Moving Image, will TIME discuss the movement and development of artists’ 15:00 - 16:00 flm into features and the crossover from galleries into cinemas, highlighting the opportunities for PRICE flmmakers at Film London. £8.50 Beggars Group VENUE Craig McNeil on Music Video York St John University Craig McNeil is Director of TV and Film at Beggars Group (Rough Trade, 4AD, Matador, XL Recordings).
