    An Open Letter to President Biden and Vice President Harris Dear President Biden and Vice President Harris, We, the undersigned, are writing to urge your administration to reconsider the United States Army Corps of Engineers’ use of Nationwide Permit 12 (NWP12) to construct large fossil fuel pipelines. In Memphis, Tennessee, this “fast-tracked” permitting process has given the green light to the Byhalia pipeline, despite the process wholly ignoring significant environmental justice issues and the threat the project potentially poses to a local aquifer which provides drinking water to one million people. The pipeline route cuts through a resilient, low-wealth Black community, which has already been burdened by seventeen toxic release inventory facilities. The community suffers cancer rates four times higher than the national average. Subjecting this Black community to the possible health effects of more environmental degradation is wrong. Because your administration has prioritized the creation of environmental justice, we knew knowledge of this project would resonate with you. The pipeline would also cross through a municipal well field that provides the communities drinking water. To add insult to injury, this area poses the highest seismic hazard in the Southeastern United States. The Corps purports to have satisfied all public participation obligations for use of NWP 12 on the Byhalia pipeline in 2016 – years before the pipeline was proposed. We must provide forums where communities in the path of industrial projects across the country can be heard. Neighborhoods like Boxtown and Westwood in Memphis have a right to participate in the creation of their own destinies and should never be ignored.

    ‘CHESAPEAKE SHORES’ Cast Bios JESSE METCALFE (Trace Riley) – One of the busiest actors in Hollywood, Jesse Metcalfe is clearly among its most coveted stars. Most recently, Metcalfe was seen as the lead in the action-packed thriller Hard Kill opposite Bruce Willis, which released globally on August 25th. Metcalfe stars and executive produces the “Martha’s Vineyard Mysteries” movie franchise for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and also starred in Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas Under the Stars” opposite Autumn Reeser and Clark Peters in 2019. In 2018, his presence drew audiences to two action films: the enjoyable Lionsgate thriller Escape Plan 2: Hades with Sylvester Stallone, and the horror flick The Ninth Passenger. ABSTRACT This thesis is an examination of the multivalent category of sodomy in late medieval works of and about biblical drama: A Tretise of Miraclis Pleyinge, the York Joseph’s Trouble About Mary and the N-Town Passion plays. Because the Tretise of Miraclis Pleyinge invokes charges of sodomy in its attack on biblical drama, this work argues that the medieval stage is particularly hospitable to exploring the queer moments of Christian theology. Focusing on the sodomitic relationships of Christ’s life as they are revealed in York’s Joseph’s Trouble and the N-Town Passion sequences, this thesis argues that these plays problematize Christ’s legendary hostile relationship to the sin against nature.

After appearing in such films as The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover and A Pin for the Butterfly, Kingston began appearing on the long-running medical drama ER in September of 1997. She first appeared in the premiere episode of the fourth season, the award-winning live episode "Ambush" where she portrayed British surgeon, Elizabeth Corday. Her character proved to be incredibly popular, appearing on the series for just over seven seasons until leaving in October 2004. Kingston did return to the role in spring 2009 during ER’s 15th and final season for two episodes. Kingston continued to entertain US audiences in November 2005, when she guest-starred in the long-running mystery drama Without a Trace.
