The next offering in our series is Anna Mary Robertson Moses who was born in 1860 in Greenwich, New York. Having started as a child, she began painting in earnest in her late 70s. Popularly known as Grandma Moses, the artist was self- taught and described her nostalgic work as old-timey. With a love for the arts and having painted more than 1,000 pictures, Grandma Moses is an example that it is never too late to do something you love.
