Tässä tuntuu olevan voimakas iranilainen. Olin kuulevinani idissä "Shabakeye ... ostanye Mazandaran", eli korvaisiko tämä esim. 1368 kHz:n, jolla meluaa nyt Golestanin provinssi? MR 900 8.10. 1500- TJK: CVC via Orzu. RLO/V Oseania 1500 21.11. 1317-1427 HWA: Tentative: KUMU Honolulu, HI. ID on tutkimuksen kohteena. TK 1701.04 30.10. 1710-1901 AUS: R Brisvaani, Brisbane. Aseman mainokset paljastivat identiteetin, kun kuunteli vähän webistä vertailua. Antoi ymmïärtää, ettïä R Brisvaanin kuunteljat saavat alennusta. TK Pohjois-Amerikka 570 14.11. 0448- CAN: CKSW Swift Current, SK. Mainosti paikallista tietokonefirmaa (MicroAge Computer Systems), joka löytyi pienen harjoittelun jälkeen Googlella. • Minnesota Emergency Alert System Statewide Plan 2018
Minnesota Emergency Alert System Statewide Plan 2018 MINNESOTA EAS STATEWIDE PLAN Revision 10 Basic Plan 01/31/2019 I. REASON FOR PLAN The State of Minnesota is subject to major emergencies and disasters, natural, technological and criminal, which can pose a significant threat to the health and safety of the public. The ability to provide citizens with timely emergency information is a priority of emergency managers statewide. The Emergency Alert System (EAS) was developed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide emergency information to the public via television, radio, cable systems and wire line providers. The Integrated Public Alert and Warning System, (IPAWS) was created by FEMA to aid in the distribution of emergency messaging to the public via the internet and mobile devices. It is intended that the EAS combined with IPAWS be capable of alerting the general public reliably and effectively. This plan was written to explain who can originate EAS alerts and how and under what circumstances these alerts are distributed via the EAS and IPAWS. II. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF PLAN A. Purpose When emergencies and disasters occur, rapid and effective dissemination of essential information can significantly help to reduce loss of life and property. The EAS and IPAWS were designed to provide this type of information. However; these systems will only work through a coordinated effort. The purpose of this plan is to establish a standardized, integrated EAS & IPAWS communications protocol capable of facilitating the rapid dissemination of emergency information to the public. B. Objectives 1. Describe the EAS administrative structure within Minnesota. (See Section V) 2.

  • Revitalization of the AM Radio Service ) ) ) )
Before the FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Washington, DC In the matter of: ) ) Revitalization of the AM Radio Service ) MB Docket 13-249 ) ) COMMENTS OF REC NETWORKS One of the primary goals of REC Networks (“REC”)1 is to assure a citizen’s access to the airwaves. Over the years, we have supported various aspects of non-commercial micro- broadcast efforts including Low Power FM (LPFM), proposals for a Low Power AM radio service as well as other creative concepts to use spectrum for one way communications. REC feels that as many organizations as possible should be able to enjoy spreading their message to their local community. It is our desire to see a diverse selection of voices on the dial spanning race, culture, language, sexual orientation and gender identity. This includes a mix of faith-based and secular voices. While REC lacks the technical knowledge to form an opinion on various aspects of AM broadcast engineering such as the “ratchet rule”, daytime and nighttime coverage standards and antenna efficiency, we will comment on various issues which are in the realm of citizen’s access to the airwaves and in the interests of listeners to AM broadcast band stations. REC supports a limited offering of translators to certain AM stations REC feels that there is a segment of “stand-alone” AM broadcast owners. These owners normally fall under the category of minority, women or GLBT/T2. These owners are likely to own a single AM station or a small group of AM stations and are most likely to only own stations with inferior nighttime service, such as Class-D stations.

BMC proposes to (1) relocate the LPFM service to a portion of this spectrum space; (2) expand the NCE service into the adjacent portion of this band; and (3) provide for the conversion and migration of all AM stations into the remaining portion of the band over an extended period of time and with digital transmissions only.

THE D-KAZ COOKBOOK by Mark Durenberger with input from Neil Kazaross and Nick Hall-Patch 12/2018 SECTION ONE: Antenna Performance, Attributes, Operation, Construction SECTION TWO: Measurements and Non-Traditional Applications SECTION TWO—During June and July 2018 we conducted a battery of D-KAZ performance measurements under controlled conditions. Our primary metric was “Front-to-Back” (“F/B”), or antenna directivity. We first compared a 170-foot D-KAZ to a 140-foot version, and then we deliberately perturbed the geometry of the 140-foot version, to see what happens when antenna wires are casually misaligned. Extensive recordings and loggings were made. We present our results informally below, presenting the measurements on tables for comparison. At the end of this section, we discuss non-routine D-KAZ applications. 2018 MEASUREMENTS: The antennas were situated in a tree-lined, electrically-quiet location, well away from strong radio signals. The antenna line was 330/150 degrees (NW/SE). This orientation placed the backside null area toward densely populated areas with high-power radio signals (Figure 2-1). 820 Relative bearings of 1070 measured stations 1400 1660 960 Approx 2 miles west of Upsala, MN 540 660 830 1500 900 1150 1030 730 1180 1330 770 860 1600 1700 Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area 640 Figure 2-1--POLAR PLOT Target stations were selected for their location and for signal reliability. Some of the initial targets had to be discarded, because when they were nulled, co- or adjacent-channel stations came up and got in the way…or the targets’ nulled signals went too far down into the noise.
