UPLIFTING ATHLETES Adhering to the team’s goal to be “Champions in the Com- munity,” a trio of Pack players recently honored their offensive coordinator and began to help others in need at the same time. Wayne Crawford, Mike Glennon and T.J. Graham have been the impetus behind the program starting one of just nine chapters of “Uplifting Athletes,” a nonprofit agency that works with college football players to raise funds for the battle against disease. The chapter, which has been recognized by the university as a student organization with a charter, is in the planning stages of organizing events and fundraising opportunities. Crawford, Glennon and Graham aim to raise at least $5,000 in the chapter’s first year.
