SCOTTISH PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS – 3 MAY 2007 ELECTION for the CENTRAL SCOTLAND REGION (1) The following registered parties have submitted lists of candidates to serve as regional members in the Scottish Parliament for the Central Scotland Region and have been and stand nominated. The name of each party which has submitted such a list or, as the case may be, the name or description of that party as given in the list submitted, along with the names and home addresses of the candidates included in the list submitted by each registered political party are shown below. the Central Scotland Region. (3) No registered political parties and no other persons have been stand nominated. (4) As the foregoing statement shows more candidates than the number of seats for the Central Scotland Region a poll for the election of seven members to serve in the Scottish Parliament for the Central Scotland Region will be taken on the third day of May 2007. The names or, as the case may be, the names and descriptions of those parties given in the lists submitted, of the registered political parties standing nominated will be printed on the ballot papers in the same order as in (1) above. (5) The poll will be taken together with: in each of the Scottish Parliamentary Constituencies within the Central Scotland Region, the poll for the election of constituency members to serve in the Scottish Parliament; in that part of Central Scotland Region lying within East Ayrshire, the poll for the Local Government Elections to East Ayrshire Council; in that part of the Central Scotland Region lying with East Dunbartonshire, the poll for the Local Government Elections to East Dunbartonshire Council; in that part of the Central Scotland Region lying within Falkirk, the poll for the Local Government Elections to Falkirk Council; in that part of the Central Scotland Region lying within North Lanarkshire, the poll for the Local Government Elections to North Lanarkshire Council in that part of the Central Scotland Region lying within South Lanarkshire, the Local Government Elections to South Lanarkshire Council.
