Rabindrnath Tagore's Nauka Dubi - From Page to Screenn Prof. Shailee Dhamsania A journey of a literary work fiom page to screen makes adaptation interesting. The adaptation of print medium into film took place for certain reasons. Firstly, the director gets fascinated by the story and believes the story lends itself beautihlly to the medium of film. Secondly, many a time he wishes to present his personal interpretation of the original story through his own language of film. Thirdly, he wishes to take up the challenge of recreating a period in history, and the original literary source is picked up mainly for the period element than for its theme of plot. Fourthly, he would like to use film because the story as literature reflects it, is in some way or another his own ideological stand on a particular subject or issue, and his use of the film medium conveys this ideology to his audience. Rabindranath Tagore is a milestone in Bengali literature. With the publication of Gitanjali, his fame attained a luminous height taking him across continents. For the world he became the voice of India's spiritual heritage; and for India, especially for Bengal he became a great living institution. Tagore was philosophic, spiritual and experimental in his expression. He was more inclined to poetry but contributed and enriched all most all forms of art and literature. There is no exaggeration if we call him the best literary stalwart of India. His famous work e.g. 'Gora', 'Chokher-Bali', 'Nauka Dubi', 'Char Ad*' fall into the category of the best Bengali novels, extremely popular and reached the masses through the,original and translated versions of his works. -

DEFINATION The capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit. The most obvious example of entrepreneurship is the starting of new businesses. In economics, entrepreneurship combined with land, labor, natural resources and capital can produce profit. Entrepreneurial spirit is characterized by innovation and risk-taking, and is an essential part of a nation's ability to succeed in an ever changing and increasingly competitive global marketplace. Differences Between Women and Men Entrepreneurs When men and women start companies, do they approach the process the same way? Are there key differences? And how do those differences affect the success of the business venture? As a woman in the start-up community, I am frequently asked about women entrepreneurs. A popular question is: How are they different from men? There have been many studies of entrepreneurs and start-ups, and I’ve read a number of them. Many of them seem to me to fall short, because the researchers, not being entrepreneurs themselves, lack an in-depth understanding of the entrepreneurial mind. The result is often a lot of statistics that fail to enlighten readers about entrepreneurial behavior and motivation. So what follows are my personal opinions. They are not based on formal research, but on my own observations and interactions with other women entrepreneurs. 1. Women tend to be natural multitaskers, which can be a great advantage in start-ups. While founders typically have one core skill, they also need to be involved in many different aspects of their business. -

His father was Nabadwipchandra Dev Burman, son of Maharaja Ishanachandra Manikya Dev Burman, Maharaja of Tripura. His mother was Raj Kumari Nirmala Devi, the royal princess of Manipur. SD Burman started working as a radio singer on Calcutta Radio Station in the late 1920s before commencing his musical journey in 1937 by composing songs for Bengali films. In 1944, Burman moved to Mumbai to score music for two films of superstar Ashok Kumar Shikari, Aat Din (1946) and Do Bhai (1947). Mera Sundar Sapna Beet Gaya sung by Geeta Dutt brought him fame. Burman embellished more than 100 films in Hindi and Bengali with his excellent music. His songs have been sung by all the established singers of the period such as Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Geeta Dutt, Shamshad Begum, Mohammed Rafi, Manna Dey, Kishore Kumar, Hemant Kumar, Mukesh, and Talat Mahmood. Her entry into popular Indian reality shows Big Boss 5 (2011) and Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt’s offer of Jism 2 on that show made a cultural shock to the nation’s moral fabric that sparked protest throughout the country by social conservatives. This article aims to map the success of adult star Sunny Leone in Bollywood and the acceptance of porn star in the conservative society. I will analyze, how the film industry exploited the sex image of her and vice versa. I have chosen Sunny Leone’s three films Jism 2 (Pooja Bhatt, 2012), Ragini MMS (Bhushan Patel, 2014), and Mastizaade (Milap Milan Zaveri, 2016) to discuss the sexual pleasure on screen, double entendre and the objectification of women body.
