14 November, the birthday of Pandit , is celebrated as Children’s Day all over the country. On this occasion, the NBT, India organises the National Book Week throughout the country. During this week the Trust encourages schools, colleges and other institutions to devote the week for books and involve children in book-related activities. The Trust on its part, organises a special week-long programme for children at its Nehru Bhawan premises, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
