They qualified through the play-offs once before, defeating Israel to qualify for UEFA EURO 2000. • Hungary This is the first appearance in the play-offs for Hungary. SOCIALNI STATUS IN IDENTITETA IGRALCEV NK OLIMPIJA ANDREJ KUHAR Fakulteta za šport Strani: 68, preglednice: 24, grafi: 25, viri: 25 IZVLEČEK Namen diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti nekatere socialno demografske značilnosti nogometašev Olimpije. Ugotoviti vzroke in zadovoljstvo ukvarjanja z nogometom, ugotoviti, kakšna je socialna, osebna in športna identiteta nogometašev ter ugotovitve primerjati med seboj glede na različno obdobje (1999/2000 in 2013/2014). Vse podatke smo zbrali s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, na katerega je odgovorilo dvaindvajset igralcev NK Olimpija iz obdobja 1999/2000 in devetnajst igralcev NK Olimpija iz obdobja 2013/2014. Proučevane podatke smo razdelili v nekaj tematskih sklopov: socialno demografska struktura, vzroki za ukvarjanje z nogometom, socialna identiteta, osebna identiteta, športna identiteta in zadovoljstvo preko nogometa. Kot najpomembnejši vzrok za ukvarjanje z nogometom so nogometaši NK Olimpije, ne glede na obdobje navedli: veselje do nogometa, nato mu sledita dobro delovno vzdušje in odločanje o samem sebi in šele na to sledi velik dohodek. Igralci iz obeh obdobij so si enotni glede tega, kaj drugi od njih pričakujejo. Strinjajo se, da od njih pričakujejo nadaljevanje ukvarjanja z nogometom, da jih cenijo kot nogometaše in da je za njih nogomet pomemben. Lahko bi rekli, da igralci NK Olimpije precej razmišljajo o sebi in so v povprečju zadovoljni sami s seboj.
