Appendix 1 - Resilience BC Regions and Communities

Please note: All communities in B.C. are eligible to apply to be Resilience BC spokes.

The purpose of this Appendix is to identify groupings of communities that would be considered a single community for the purposes of delivering services as a community spoke in the Resilience BC program. As such, the grouping of communities identified below are considered a single community spoke, eligible to apply for up to $7,500 as a Resilience BC spoke community.

For example, if you are applying to lead a community spoke in “Surrey”, then the expectation/assumption for the purposes of this program, is that your application will include delivering spoke services in both “Surrey and White Rock.”

Conversely, if you are applying to lead a community spoke in the “District of West ”, the expectation is that your application will include delivering spoke services in all of the communities identified as part of the “North Shore.”

If your community or municipality is not listed below, then your community or municipality is still eligible to apply for up to $7,500 through the Resilience BC program.
