Scottish Parliament election Notice of poll

South Scotland Region

1. An election is to be held on Thursday 5 May 2011 to elect Regional Members to the Scottish Parliament.

2. The hours of poll will be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. This poll will be combined with the poll for the referendum on the UK Parliamentary voting system.

3. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Ayrshire Valuation Joint Board, 9 Wellington Square, Ayr KA7 1HL, Email: [email protected], Tel: 01292 612515 by 5 p.m. on Thursday 14 April 2011.

4. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Ayrshire Valuation Joint Board, 9 Wellington Square, Ayr KA7 1HL, Email: [email protected], Tel: 01292 612515 by 5 p.m. on Thursday 21 April 2011.

5. Applications to vote by proxy at this election applied for on the ground of physical incapacity, where that physical incapacity occurred after 5 p.m. on Thursday 21 April 2011 must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Ayrshire Valuation Joint Board, 9 Wellington Square, Ayr KA7 1HL, Email: [email protected], Tel: 01292 612515 by 5 p.m. on 5 May 2011.
