Head Coach Gary McIntosh Coach Gary McIntosh II enters his 17th season as the men’s soccer coach and 12th season as director Coach McIntosh Career W-L of athletics at Northwest in 2019-20. Year W-L-T Coach McIntosh is the all-time leader in men’s soc- 2018 4-9-3 cer wins at Northwest and has guided the Eagles to six consecutive double-figure wins seasons (2011- 2017 9-8-1 16). He has twice been named Cascade Collegiate 2016 11-8-0 Conference Coach of the Year. 2015 10-9-0 Prior to his first season at NU in 2003, McIntosh was the head coach for San Diego Christian College for 2014 15-5-0 three seasons (1998-2000). 2013 13-6-0 Gary has led the NU soccer team to the 2012 10-8-1 CCC playoff’s in 2008, '09, '11,’12,’13, '14,'15 and the conference semifinals in 2009 and 2011. He also 2011 11-5-3 named 2009 Cascade Conference Coach of the 2010 9-8-1 Year by a vote of the CCC coaches and CCC Co- Coach of the Year in 2011. 2009 9-6-4 While at San Diego Christian College he collected 2008 6-9-3 three consecutive Coach of the Year awards for the NCCAA West Region, compiled a 50- 25 cumulative record, and trained six NAIA All-Americans. McIntosh also served as an adjunct professor for Azusa Pacific University. McIntosh, in 2006 and again in 2007, took the helm of the Salem, Oregon-based Cascade Surge of the Premier Soccer Development League (PDL), which is part of the Soccer League. A three-year captain, McIntosh played four years at Christian Heritage College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education. He also holds a master’s degree from Azusa Pacific and is working toward a doctorate in strategic leadership from Corban University. Gary and his wife, Laura, have three daughters, Morgan, Ashlyn and Shannae, and one son, Kyler. The family attends Bethany Christian Assembly. Gary also enjoys hiking, fishing and walks with his wife.

Assistant Coach Perry Travis Northwest welcomed Perry Travis to the men’s soccer coaching staff as assistant coach prior to the 2019 season. Travis, a former member of the University of Washington Huskies, was an assistant coach at Inglemoor High School in 2019. He previously coached at Cedar Park Christian (Mountlake Terrace Campus) from 2008-17 where his 2012 team earned the Team Sportsmanship Award and he earned league Coach of the Year honors in 2009. He also has coached successfully at the club level for Northshore Select and as a guest coach for Northwest Nationals Premier Club u-19. Travis was 2014 Competi- tive Coach of the Year for District 2 of Washington. Travis played for the Huskies in 1988 and 1989 before earning his bachelor’s de- gree in business administration from the University of Washington in 1992. He earned his master’s degree in Christian education from Gateway Seminary in 1997. He and his wife, Lisa, have four sons, Jordan, Caleb, Joshua and Nathan.
