All the directives for the celebration of Mass and the reception of the A Sacraments during this time of the Coronavirus pandemic remain in effect. Father Jonathan was stationed here at St. Mary Church (now Queen of Peace) from 1965 – 1976, and most of us have very fond memories of him. D Father Jonathan was born on , 1926 in Jeannette, PA. He professed his vows on 2, 1959 and was ~ ordained a Priest on , 1965. May they rest in peace, and may their souls and the souls of all the Faithful departed, ~ through the Mercy of God, Rest in Peace…Amen. ~ ~~~~~~~~~~ ~ ICBU MEETING – The ICBU will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, at 7 PM in the upper level of the Parish Center. ~ T ~~~~~~~~~~ SPECIAL THANKS TO THE ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE for footing the bill for the new handicap entrance into ot Church. The contract was awarded to M&M Contracting of Patton, and they have now completed the project. The total cost was $26,097.00 which was made possible thru the fundraising projects that the committee holds throughout the al year(s). We thank them for their tireless work and dedication to our Church. Well done team!! s IN ADDITION: New steps were constructed to access the lower level of the Parish Center. This project was also completed by M&M Contracting of Patton at a total cost of $9,715.00. This project was paid in full by the Parish. We to thank everyone for supporting all of our fundraisers which helps to maintain our beautiful Church and Parish Center. God Bless you for your generosity. D ~~~~~~~~~~ at CEMETERY COLLECTION – The Annual Collection for perpetual care of our cemeteries (St. Mary/St. George and St. Lawrence) will be held throughout the month of November. An envelope is attached to your bulletin. Please mark e your envelope accordingly so that all monies given will go directly into the perpetual care accounts of your desired A Cemetery Association.
