From the outset, LNG Canada worked to become the project of choice for British Columbia. Every decision made during the planning and design process has been done keeping safety, the environment, economic and community interests top-of-mind. The JV Participants include: Shell — a global leader in LNG since 1964, helping to pioneer the LNG sector. Shell operates about 20% of the world’s LNG vessels and has LNG supply projects either in operation or under construction in ten countries. PETRONAS — is a fully integrated energy company with extensive experience in LNG. Through its wholly owned upstream energy company Progress Energy and its partners, PETRONAS is one of the largest natural gas reserves owner in Canada – with the majority of these reserves in the North Montney natural gas formation in northeast British Columbia. Mitsubishi Corporation — is Japan’s largest trading company with more than 50% share of LNG imported into Japan. Mitsubishi has been investing in LNG since 1969 and has an interest in 11 LNG export projects globally. Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) — is the world’s largest LNG importing company and South Korea’s principal LNG provider. If I choose to watch an NFL football game on Fox, then why is there a CTV logo on the screen??? If that's all Canadian channels are good for (copying content from the U.S.), then it's time to turn off the lights and close the doors. I am Canadian and I don't care about Canadian content! Sorry if the truth hurts.... Flag Like timw 1 month ago in reply to Michael 25 people liked this. The truth is that the CRTC has set up the system (probably unwittingly, or more likely at the behest of powerful television and cable lobbyists) to allow a few rich canadians to profit off of imported content without any real incentive to create canadian content. If there was a requirement to create canadian content and an incentive to do so (and a punishment for not doing so) then canadian content would become higher quality - and every once in a while you would be influenced by Canadian content and values rather than the US-centric set of values found on Fox.
